ATRIO Health Plans is a health plan with a Medicare Advantage contract.
Original Medicare provides basic medical coverage for individuals 65 years of age and older and certain people with disabilities. When an individual becomes eligible for Medicare, they can choose from a number of Medicare Advantage Plan options that include:
- Medicare Health Maintenance Organization (HMOs)
- Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO)
- Private Fee-for-Service Plans
- Medicare Special Needs Plans
ATRIO Health Plans is an approved Medicare Health Maintenance Organization (HMOs).
To join a Medicare Advantage Plan, individuals must have Medicare Part A and Part B and they must continue to pay their Part B premium.
