For most people, the deadline to enroll in a 2017 health insurance plan
has passed. But you may still be able to enroll in health coverage for
the rest of 2017 if you incurred a
qualifying life event.
Individuals and families have three options for enrolling in coverage with
ATRIO Health Plans
You are not required to enroll in a plan through the marketplace, Healthcare.gov.
However, there are several financial incentives for individuals who do.
These incentives include eligibility for financial assistance in the form
of premium tax credits and cost share reductions. Premium tax credits
act to reduce the amount of premium you pay out of pocket for your coverage.
Cost share reductions are a lowering of the health plan cost share amounts
for which you are responsible when you incur covered health care services
(e.g., deductibles, copayments and coinsurance). Eligibility for financial
assistance is determined based on your family size and total household
income. To shop for coverage, investigate your eligibility for financial
assistance or to enroll in coverage through the marketplace, simply click here on
